Down the Rabbit Hole

Most people have seen Alice in Wonderland. My question to those people is this: does it come across as a normal movie or story to you? Frankly, it freaks me out. I know that I am a grown woman but I'm not ashamed to say that a cartoon freaks me out. Lewis Carroll and the animators at Disney all must have been on acid when coming up with this stuff. The Cheshire cat is just plain freaky, then theres the whole "off with her head" thing that definately came across as quite disturbing when I saw the movie as a child and it still disturbs me to this day. Alice in Wonderland? He should have called it Alice on Acid.

Not the I intend for this entire blog to be a commentry on Alice in Wonderland, its just the only thing that i could come up with to start off(and I felt that I needed and explanation for the title of my blog)

I suppose these are the sort of deep thoughts that I come up with when Im really bored. O well. I still have a week left of winter break and I'm bored out of my mind. I know that I should be thankfull that I have an entire month off but frankly I'm bored. It doesn't help that my mom moved out to Sugar Grove, aka the middle of nowhere. And that Brit has been gone since right after christmas. And now Chris is back at school and I have no one to entertain me for this last week. Even though I'm bored, I have an even greater desire to not start this next semester. I'm really not looking foreward to the 8:30am studio that I have, and I hear the professor is a real asshole. I have a feeling he's going to make this semester suck by attempting to devoid us of a social life. Add that to my pledge to myself to go out to the bars more often and I have a heck of a conflict there. We'll see.
